MVA Sponsors 5K

We celebrated our 25th anniversary with a 5K run. With your help, we were able to raise $5,500 for Main Line Animal Rescue (MLAR). Watch this space for photos from the event. Thanks to everyone who turned out and helped make this event a success.

Participants enjoyed music, goody bags, food and beverages before and after the event, plus free T-shirts. Main Line Animal Rescue had some of their adoptable pets available to meet at the event as well. Proceeds raised from the event will benefit homeless animals rescued through Main Line Animal Rescue. Plus, MVA was pleased to welcome our very special guest, Steve Morrison from 93.3 WMMR's "Preston & Steve Show." Morrison is an avid animal lover!

Who is Main Line Animal Rescue? Main Line Animal Rescue specializes in the rescue and placement of abused, unwanted, and abandoned companion animals. Their policy is to never discriminate on the basis of health, age or breed. Main Line Animal Rescue works to be involved with and educate the community – it's the best way to raise public awareness of the plight of homeless animals and to help people see the benefits of adopting an animal in need.
