| Instructions and overall recommendations for aftercare will be given at the time of discharge from the hospital. A copy of the discharge instructions will be faxed to the referring veterinarian at the time of discharge. In many instances, the referring veterinarian will be contacted by telephone to insure proper continuing care of the patient. | |||
| Cooperation between our staff and the referring veterinarian is important to all concerned in order to insure the best level of care for patients. Reports of test results will be sent to the referring veterinarian as they become available. Summary letters of patient care and diagnostic testing will be forwarded at appropriate times. | |||
| In all circumstances, every effort will be made to offer the best care possible for both patient and owner. All the staff here at Metropolitan Veterinary Associates look forward to serving you, your pet, and your veterinarian if the need arises. | |||
