She has been working at MVA on a part time basis since the time of her internship and joined the Emergency Service full time in 2004, leaving general practice.
Dr. Fordyce's special interests in veterinary emergency medicine include emergency surgery, wound management, and endocrine diseases. She lives with her daughter Lucy (born in February 2007), two dogs Meg and Max, and two cats Thelma and Smarty Jones. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, running, and competing her horse in three-day eventing.
